Today's definitely an exciting day for my baseball fandom. If the A's win tonight not only do they win the division by I get $100 for the playoff game that won't be happening but for which I bought tickets.

Apparently the scab referees from the NFL have found a part time gig in MLB wildcard games...

Off to see if the A's can do what the Giants just did.

If they can, hopefully it won't be so exciting as last nights game.

Before the game I told Lani the A's would have to get Verlander up to about 130 pitches to knock him out of the game just on pitch count. Unfortunately he only needed 122 to shut them out.
