Now to decide if I report it to the insurance. I need at least a buff job. Maybe a paint job. I need to find out what my deductibles are.

Ugh.

I'm glad you are okay BTD. What a jerk running away like that. Shame on him!

Ugh.

A hit-and-run should be covered under you comp. and will not count as against you in terms of any "no claims" status.

Hmm, that I don't know. But if you have a police report that indicates you were not at fault, you're probably in a good position.

Don't think I am going to claim it with the insurance. My deductible is $2k. It won't go on my record because it is being written as not my fault. But the cop said he wouldn't file the report if I didn't want him to. I think it should still be filed, just in case the guy got my number.
