I was just Googling around my office using the satellite view and saw this image of a plane taking off from John Wayne Airport with its shadow visible a little ways away.

I'm taking a gender and work class. It's very interesting to be studying this as it's changing again.

I've also noticed a significant drop in the crowds at restaurants during lunch time. More and more people are bringing their lunches. I even notice this at work as the freezer is stuffed full with frozen meals.

When I was preggers I had to choose whether or not to go back to work. I am so glad I stayed home with Boy for his first 2 years. There wasn't much of a choice, daycare was not an option. I would have been paying $500/month when I only made $600/month.
