I have T-Mobile and I'm in The Bay Area. However, according to their coverage map, we should have full bars and GREAT coverage. Our entire Street is a dead zone for some reason. Make sure you find a NEIGHBOR and see who gets the best right at your back door, or you will be hating it for length of your contract.

I had sprint as my personal phone and Tmobile for work. The tmobile coverage is pretty spotty in areas. Sprint, as much as I detest there disgusting attempt at customer service including their voicebot Claire that you have to "talk" to in order to get an answer to a problem when you call their helpdesk, had much better coverage out here. Back east, it was a little different. In the midwest, Sprint performed well also. However, if you are looking to travel international at all, Tmobile with a GSM phone has got your back whereas PCS will not work abroad (including Canadia).
