If they don't understand that, there is no hope for Disneyland ever understanding Halloween.

How long does the DLP Halloween celebration usually last? Do they set up their Christmas decorations later in Nov. than DLR does?

Halloween at DLP goes till Nov. 1. I'm not sure when they put up Christmas, but that would give them enough time to do the proper thing and set up no earlier than Thanksgiving.

(of course, there's no such thing as Thanksgiving in Europe ... but, well ... till DLP "invented" it, there really wasn't much Halloween there either)

Christmas appears very soon after Halloween ends. As a matter of fact, when we were there, they already had the princess chandeliers on the Main Street lamp posts, waiting to be turned on for Christmas.

I find it kind of funny that one of the highlights of their Halloween shenanigans is to highlight one face character that is going to be added to the ToT. I'm not sure that will be a hug draw to the ride. Unless she's hot or something...

this sounds promising

changing tower's main drop profile or adding the random ones like florida's would be way cooler than a maid though... just something to mix it up a bit... and what exactly is a maid going to do? clean up the lobby that is supposed to look dusty?

I certainly hope DL will live up to some of the hype for Halloween. Even a dash of Halloween is better than nothing. Its weird that DLP gets so into it but not here. Why is that??
