Lol. Ok, so I'm not calling myself vegan anymore. But for the most part I'll still eat like one. I don't like eggs, I'm intolerant to dairy, and I still don't want to give money to the meat industry. But I felt like too much of my identity was becoming wrapped up in the vegan thing. And I needed to eat meat at least once so that it would actually mean something when I say I'm not vegan anymore. Oh, plus I had been craving In N Out for weeks!

How long had you been vegan? Didn't you get sick?

My mom was Vegan for years. Then she became allergic to beans, including soy beans. The Dr told her she would die if she didn't get protein from somewhere, and meat was one of the places she had to go. Even with some nuts she was getting pretty sick. There are essintial amino acids that only meat provides.

I liked the In N Out Burger bumper stickers when people altered them to

In N Out Urge that gave me a craving also!

The only thing you can get from meat that you can't get from veggies is B12.

MF- Since August. A little sick. I got pretty light headed, oddly. Then a bit nauseous. But nothing like the time I took a bit of something that I didn't know contained bacon. I don't plan on repeating the experience anytime soon. I'll still eat like a vegan.
