Another option which friends of mine do is a one way car rental. You pick up near your house and drop at the airport, then reverse on your return.

Also sometimes a car service is around the same price as a shuttle. They usually have flat rates for airport pick up/drop off's. Esp if you have more than one person as they charge by the car not the person.

I really should. Bus # 23 stops right in front of my house and goes directly to the GateWay MAX station....just can't bring myself to take a city bus to the airport(of course, once in DisneyWorld all I did was ride citylike buses everywhere so what's my problem )
