UGH! Sold out. Damnit. Well, I might try for the Silent Movie/ High Anxiety night.
I just read on Myspace that the NEw Bevery CInema is playing "Citizen Kane" and Magnificint Ambersons starting tonight thru saturday. I"ve never seen MA and would love to see both in the theatre. Plus they just did some work on New Bev and would like to see what they did... Maybe friday... |

Hmm. I just watched Bunny Lake is Missing. I hated Flight Plan with a fiery passion and Russell recommended Bunny as a way to wash away the memory of Flight Plan with a better film that plays around with a similar concept. But aside from the opening titles, the early scenes at the school, and Lawrence Olivier, who was fun and charming, the movie didn't stir me up much. I bet, in its time, it was quite a shocker.
