That is just beyond cool, Flippy. And what a strangely fitting location. Thank you for sharing it with us!

I love that he was exited about his recent project - I sometimes wonder about aging and the creative process, and it's good to see that his passion, his "fvck-you"itism and his creative juices are still flowing. I'm definitely going to check out Kitten for Hitler.

I suspect the former, not the latter.

While he was sitting in a wheelchair in a small shaded viewing section, he struck up a conversation with a very sweet little lady in another chair next to him. She took to him immediately, and we joked that she was flirting shamelessly. (Lisi had gone to browse the gift shops.) When the show was over, the sweet little lady told us that she would never dream of stealing him away IN THIS LIFE, but that she wanted a date with Ken in the hereafter. He thought this very sweet. He was at all times respectful while in the park, but at lunch, it was clear that he was bemused by it. (He also commented that if the folks at Holy Land had any idea of who he was, they would have tossed him out.)

Yes, it was clear that he has not lost his passion for filmmaking, and that looking back was of little interest. His current or next project is what's on his mind. (By the way, he is finishing a feature length adaptation of Moll Flanders, shot at home, but apparently in period costumes. He didn't say much about it except that "you'll know it's my film." He also suggested I look up a recent one called Ashes.

Totally trippin, flippy! Sounds like something out of Ken Kesey and the Merry Prankster's playbook.

Okay, I have a follow-up photo here - and it is probably Not Safe For Work!

So, I didn't get to join Ken Russell and company on their visit to the Fairvilla Adult Megastore - but Chris sent me this unforgettable photo:

Spoiler:

The pinata matches Mr. Russell's shirt nicely.
