What is the model number?

Does that sound familiar? Oh, and looking at it, it is a Gateway, not a Dell.

No idea as to quality or AC Adapter scams, but you can buy an AC adapter for that model on eBay for $9.

That's why I wanted to know; AC adapters are pretty easy to find, but they tend to be specific to one model or sometimes a range of models from a single manufacturer so you need to make sure you get the right one. Good luck!

Especially with Dell laptops. Oops, just read backwards, much better with a Gateway I would suppose. My bad!

Thanks, that is why I was concerned a bit. I don't want to go through the company as they are more pricey. I don't mind generic.

LOL I hope a Gateway is better, at least in this case. Of course, had it said Dell, I'd have hoped in that case. :0)

It's yours. It's not as cool as the Kerug but it's a 1-2 cup maker. I got it for next to nothing during a trial phase and I either drink no coffee or a pot so it just takes up room on my counter.
