If other people add you as a friend is there a way to tell? (I'm fine if nobody adds me, just not sure what to expect if anybody does.)

I found the same thing, GC.

I think you have to add them for it to be worth anything... both parties must register one another in order to communicate, trade Miis, etc...

Yeah greg's code doesn't work for me.

I entered everyone else's tho (Jen, add me!).

Alex if both people are friended on the Wii then you'll be able to send them messages. Their name will appear in grey if you aren't friended, and black if you are.
