I signed the lease on a condo tonight! It's way too small for all of us, but it's worth it to see only my name on a lease. With no official proof of income (as my $$ comes from as-of-yet unofficial child support and student loans), and Michael unwilling to sign a lease, I was pretty stressed about finding a place without an application that wasn't in the world's worst neighborhood. But the neighborhood is perfect, it's affordable, and my critters are welcome. My first solo place! Life is good!

*Do not faint, that is the only name I know in passing re NASCAR, except Dale Earnhart, and it took me 5 of the 7 years living in VA to figure out what the hell the numbers 3 and 6 were doing on the back of people's trucks. I still don't understand his apparent cannonization as patron saint.
