Nicely done! I especially like the parts that cross the split.

And did they do fireworks that I didn't know about? It wasn't on the schedule but the video showed it. I'm guessing it wasn't footage from the 24-hour day, but publicity to encourage people to come for it?

it was per-shot (probably some stock) footage. This video was released on the 29th ("Today, for the first time ever..."). The video showed the Monorail running at Disneyland, which was not running on the 29th.
