Here's my parental advice (and yes, I'm a parent). Don't hold back information for strategic purposes of nailing your kid with it later.

Your child may be stupidly duplicitious because they are a kid. Don't stoop to that level. You be the adult and let them know you're on to them.

No kidding, this is two days in a row for me is extreme time slowdown days. The next four days wil rocket by, no doubt and I will wonder where the time went. Dammit.

I guess it is all about perspective. I have a gazillion things that all need to be done at the same time and the time seems to be zipping by.
