Well, when I make coffee and this works out for drip, etc. 1 heaping spoon of coffee per cup and then 1 extra for the pot. I do not drink too much of the stuff, but I made the first 3 or 4 pots at Yosemite yesterday and had no complaints it wsa too strong or not. Of course, since most of those consuming were bleary-eyed from lack of sleep, any caffeine was a good thing.

Also, ask Kevy since he brought a French Press to Yosemite. He might know.

I get to see my folks tomorrow!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!! This will be my first time flying into Seatac as an out-of-state-er. I wonder if it will make me want to move back there or if I'll be glad I left.

My third pot is an improvement. I upped it to 3 scoops, steeped a little longer. I think next time I'll steep it even longer.

I've considered it, I think the press pot is already pushing the work-space-as-kitchen boundary, I think adding small kitchen appliances might raise some eyebrows. Especially since I don't sit in my cube, I spend my time in the computer lab.

That's what I'm trying to get away from. The company provides us a pod-type maker. It makes pretty good coffee and I've been happy with it. But a) to save money they're switching brands, and the new brand sucks. And b) Even with the better coffee, after a while the uniformity has gotten to me. Even having bought my own pods of different flavors for variety, there's just no personality to each cup. I'm digging the little bit of personal touch I'm getting from making my own.

I had my hubby take mine out to the garage freezer, not that THAT will save them but at least I have to walk further to get at them! Those ones being sold at Target just are NOT the same.
