I have an all day meeting today. Totally sucks. Anyway one of the speakers really bugs. He treats all the males in the room like adults and then when a female asks a question he keeps saying stuff like, "Wow, that's a really good question. Very good." or "I like the way your mind works. Excellent question. Really." Like he's their patronizing father or something. It's subtle but it really bugs. He doesn't preface and of his responses with "us guys" it's more direct and to the point like the way a coach would answer one of his football players' questions.

So after passing up fun times on Saturday night so I'd be sure to be rested up in order to write a decent paper that was due on Tuesday, I find out the teacher is accepting late work and not marking off for it.

We have a similar situation. Matthew generally works until 10 so I take care of the dinner. Now, if I could just get him to clean. j/k

My husband hasn't set foot in a grocery store in at least a decade. When I had to go to my Grandpas funeral and was gone for a week, he mostly ate what I'd frozen for him or went out to eat. But when the cats ran out of food he actually called my girlfriend to go get cat food for them

I think Cirque's husband and mine must have been separated at birth. Why is it some guys can be so good at domestic things, and others not? Because they're mommy's did it all for them? My sis has a husband who is an awesome cook- but you cannot trust him with any recipes that you want to remain simple- he'll try to dude them up with basalmic vinegar or pressed garlic. The worst time was when he was asssigned the green beans for a get-together. The recipe is green beans mixed with sauteed bacon and onion- very simple, right? Well, he decided to dump some horrible cooking sherry in the sautee, and the beans tasted like they'd been laced with dirty sock juice.
