I thought they had to offer an alternative assignment. Or maybe that's just here. I refused to dissect anything in science class. Detention and then paper writing. Now it's an "alternative eduction project".

We dissected things, but people didn't object because we were just clearing out the lab supplies -- they weren't planning to order any thing else, so we divided up what all was left. I dissected a large locust.

I dissented a shark. It was cool, I gouged out it's eyeball which was really a ball. I think I kept it for a very long time.
