Thanks, everyone, for your good wishes! (Although my husband has dibs on the spankings.)

Mommy made me cake with my favorite home-made chocolate frosting. I got a giant basket of scented bath goodies from my brother, some philsophy 3-in-1 and a blue cashmere sweater set from my 'rents (I love cashmere! I'm dressed up but it feels like I'm in my jammies!), and a Ramones anthology from BT. (I get to pick out my "big" gift at Disneyland next month.)

It was a glorious day of sloth, peppering with flurries of cleaning and sorting (which makes me very happy! Love taking those notes and textbooks I no longer need upstairs and dumping them!)

I'm now trying to adjust to this latest phase of "no homework." Although technically I do have my assignment for the first conlaw reading for January. But no, now is time to relax, catch up on my home improvement projects, and finally get some sewing done. Decision time -- which to work on first? German ren or Elizabethan kirtle and loose gown?
