Sorry to disagree with you, NA ... but there's a reason my friends and I would always pantomime this accident. It was just waiting to happen. It was inevitable that some old geezer would fall during this particular boarding process ... and I simply can't believe that it took so long for this to happen (in fact, I just think this is the first time I've heard it reported).

Not that the Peter Pan Speedramp Loading Zone should be featured on the park map, but there's no doubt in my mind that it was a dangerous boarding situation that would result in an oldster accident. It is not analogous to omnimover boarding like Haunted Mansion or Inner Space. It was a combination of omnimover loading zone and non-omnimover vehicles that was an accident waiting to happen ... till now.

I wasn't clear. I was aghast over the implication the news was making that "they couldn't find any information on the park map regarding the moving sidewalk" as if that would've made a difference.

Heheh, they may have decided the attraction was too risky for them.

Why do you think they call it call it Snow White's Scary Adventures, for example, if not to warn off the frail and tender?

Actually, the former attraction title was even more useful for this purpose ... when it was called, and I kid you not, "Snow White's Adventures (Scary)"

Over 30 years in the making though? Think about how many millions of people have ridden it without getting seriously injured. And think about the time period.

I think the design is fine, the problem was on the part of the guest.
