Assuming the exif information in the photos is correct most of them were taken May 25 which is later in the month than I thought it had been.
It was beautiful weather (though still cold at night) but the river was still running pretty full. |

Yeah, that's why the higher elevations are a bit more of a crap shoot early in the year. You never know just how cold it will be. My brother said it has been unusually cold this year - and he's lived in the Sierras for 30 years.
