If I were to head that up, I would insist that others attacked/bought stuff as frequently as they desired, and perhaps more so.

It's not something I would suggest doing until we feel powerful, though.

Does our ability to win battles depend on our levels? Or is it just how much stuff we have to battle?

I think stuff. But I am imagine that our ability to earn meat and buy stuff will accelerate as we level up.

I'm an idiot- I thought I was a Pastamancer, but I'm a Sauceror.

So, I created another character: NinjaMancer! She's a Pastamancer (really, I think...), and I'll apply to the Clan when I hit level three. I'm going about things a bit more methodically this time around, so I'm getting a pretty good stash of stuff to put in the Clan's larder.

You make short work of him, there in the darkness, rifle his pockets, and make your way back to the surface alone.

I finally beat the crypt! On to the mines!

Whoohoo! I just got to the Crypt challenge, and am amassing the Hp and Mp I know i'll need. I love all the literary and music nods in this game.

EH: if it's any consolation, my character has gotten the sh*t kicked out of it several times this week! I've only just gotten to the Degrassi Knoll bit, can't find rims anywhere, the only meat car ingredients I've successfully combined were the empty meat tank and the meat stack, and as of this morning my character was DRUNK. And I can't get past the entrance to the bat cave.

However, I've learned that razor-sharp can lids are my friend. As are spider webs. Good stuff in a battle.
