Frankly, it's almost as easy to create a group meal as it is to create the individual meal. Serious savings in time and trouble (and cleanup!)

I served good dinners for more than 20 for a week at Burning Man and we were eating seafood and freshly made ice cream (with no machine) on day 5.

Just takes some thinking.

I've been toying with the ice cream idea. After all, I have a bag of dry Dole Whip mix that would be easy to bring.

All ice cream requires are two coffee cans, salt, ice, milk, flavoring, and duct tape.

ok, on a more serious note. I would suggest the large aluminum disposables (like turkey pans etc)...a good number of them in fact for use as pots n pans. we would usually bring enough to not have to wash anything but utensils, just crush it and throw it in the recycler.
