Sooooo..... I apparently have swine flu. They don't test for swine flu specifically now, but there isn't really another flu going around, so the doc is pretty sure that's what it is. I definitely have the flu, as they did the test for that.

And do you know how they test for that? They stick a swab waaaaaaaaaaaaay up your nose. I could die happy if I never had to go through that again.

So, I told one co-worker, word spread, and the interim director just called to strongly suggest that I take the rest of the week off. I decided not to fight it. I'm not contagious after tomorrow, thanks to the antivirals, so I'm okay to go in Thursday, but it would probably be better if I rested up so I can hopefully still partake in weekend festivities.

I think I still have a pig nose left over from a previous mouse adventure.....
