I've been thinking about little Jack all day. The oddest thing happened about a half an hour after I heard. My right index finger started throbbing and I looked down to see it was bleeding. I had some sort of puncture/tear on my cuticle. This is the same finger, and the same location, that little Jack bit last year. Damn it if he didn't get one last taste of me on his way to heaven.

I'll miss the little spunky peanut.

I'm sorry, MP. Jack was a cutie, and like all Chi's no doubt full of personality. I wish all of our animals would just get and stay healthy around here!!!!!

Sincerest condolences to the Mousepods. I met Jack shortly after he was adopted and he was not only sweet and adorable, he was wearing the most awesome designer chihuahua diapers!

RIP Jack, you could not have had better adoptive parents and cool playmates.

So, here I am in a Mediterranean cafe in Las Cruces. Picked mostly because they have wifi. And here I am using our new netbook, which is much more convenient for such purposes than my laptop. Interview is over. I think I did well, but I'm the first of 10 he plans to interview over the next several weeks, so lots of waiting for me.
