I juuust about have an old spinning wheel up and running. It came to Minnesota from Sweden with the hubbo's great-grandmother in 1882. It hasn't seen action since 1905.

This afternoon, we drove to a nearby little town and bought some roving, which is wool cleaned, carded, and ready to be spun. This roving is also dyed (blues and greens).
