Is this onion pre-move, or post-move? It's hard to believe a post-move onion could go bad that fast, but it's harder to believe you would move an onion.

Okay - I've been sitting at my desk working for awhile now - and out of the corner of my eye, something on my desk wiggled.

Damn frikkin mouse stuck in a sticky trap in the corner (yes - our office has mice and we are given nearly useless sticky traps to fight this problem) wiggling at me.

I yelped, screamed like a school girl, and ran down the hall where it was safe!
