I went an picked up Thurston, brough Amy with me so I could use the carpool lane, but the traffic was fantastic! Thurston feels like a squishy marshmallow. I came home to find Chris asleep with 7 cats splayed around him. I just put Thurston down with the sleeping crew and he's been there ever since. They both haven't really budged for hours.

Some satellite shots aren't updated for years. If you look at places you know have changed in the last few years, you'll probably see some old things. It took about 2 years for our brand new supermarket in Irvine to look like anything but a construction site.

Even so, I am surprised that such a destination as HKDL would not get its photo taken more often.

I am just home from the hospital for a few minutes to pick up some things.

Heidi was admitted a little while ago with a blood clot in her leg. They have started her on medications and are taking good care of her, so all should be well, but a little scary nonetheless.

And unfortunately, no internet access at the hospital, so she probably won't be back for a few days to tell you about her adventures, but I can relay messages in the meanwhile.
