				            | It's official. My son is trying to drive me insane. Right now he is literally climbing the walls. Why? Because he can. |

				            | Actually, he has to. He's a boy. It's in his job description.

| Swing Swank | This morning at work there was a meeting scheduled first thing which is not how I like to start my day. The meeting was me, my supervisor, and manager meeting with the VP of the business unit we do accounting work for. My supervisor and I were all prepped for a confrontation over financial reports, they always blame our numbers if they don't meet their forecasts. When we got there the room was full of about 50 people and we quickly realized it was not the meeting we expected. Turns out our manager was in on the whole scheme to surprise us with STAR awards. These are company awards given for stellar (what else) achievement. The business unit wanted to recognize and thank us for all the work we do for them. That was very nice because it isn't often that anyone says thank you for what you do, it's usually only what you don't do that gets noticed.

				            | He figured out that if he placed a foot against each side of the hallway he can climb up and bump his head on the ceiling. He then did this in the much wider entrance to the kitchen. Yanni wouldn't phase him but Billy Joel makes his ears bleed (or so he told me a few years back). |
