Besides, my AP is growing spider webs, and I paid good money for it.

It's tradition to meet in the hub around noon ... usually a little before.

There's a huge group photo at noon in front of the Castle, and the Hub is a sort of Fashion Parade, mingle zone for the hour or so before that.

Then we go on a ride or two, have a long lunch, some cocktails, stay out of the heat in our unbearably hot clothes .... wait for twilight, have a costume change, and head over to the Haunted Mansion for the 2nd round of fashion parade ... usually much better because people were more outrageous things once the blazing sun goes down ... alas, it's also dark and hard to see.

Yes, it's old, it's trite, it's routine, it's been done. It's fun!

Sadly, I work a long shift tomorrow, so since I can only be around a very short while, I won't be wearing the outfit I worked on. Probably just toss on last year's little black dress, maybe augmented with my pink fishnets and/or stripey socks, and, as ever, a parasol.
