While watching True Blood is a great way to spend the afternoon, I'm not sure she's in any position to share the benefits of seeing all of those hot naked bodies.

And, what's with the vertigo? Ear infection? Did Susan hit you over the head? Feel better!

Just took the endometriosis out - they did not remove anything that belonged. Although she would have been happy if they gave her a hysterectomy.

They are going to be doing some hormone therapy as a follow-up. I believe this means she will be going through another chemically induced temporary menopause. I remember the last one (which wasn't as bad as I was worried it would be). While most women get hot-flashes when on menopause, Susan tends to run cold anyways, so all she had was "not cold" flashes.

Especially since they instructed that she get a week of "pelvic rest" - that term cracked me up.

Yeah, I don't know. I woke up Monday morning with really bad dizziness - so bad that I thought I was going to hurl (the room actually turned upside-down). I was dizzy off and on for the rest of the day and then I got hit with another bad bout of it last night - I remember I turned/twisted in bed to set the alarm for 5:00 (we had to be at the hospital at 6:00 this morning) and that was when it happened. It seemed to help that I slept propped up a little last night.

I've had some dizziness off and on today as well. I called and made an appointment with my doc for Thursday. I suspect an inner ear infection as Susan doesn't usually smack me when I need to take her to the hospital - she usually waits until she doesn't need anything from me.

I'm looking to get some glow-in-the-dark bracelets for Rocky give-aways. I've searched three sites and one of them is way below the others for what looks like the same thing.

Each of these appears to be a tube of assorted color 8" GITD bracelets:

• $33.70 Carnival Source
• $24.99 Oriental Trading Company
• $8 Extreme Glow

I've purchased from Extreme Glow before and I'm inclined to trust them, but their prices are so far below the other two (which are relatively similar) I'm worried I'm not seeing something. What am I missing?

I've purchased 50 count tubes of glow necklaces from Extreme Glow. Noting but good things to say about them.

Just the mention of "Oriental Trading Company" makes me want to heave. Trouble is the only thing they have ever delivered to me.

A small flock of swallows has been spending the day outside our offices. I'm no avian expert so I don't know how to accurately estimate flock size, but based on what I observed on a walk around the facility, I'd guess 30-50 birds, certainly no more than 100.

In the 20 seconds it takes me to walk from my car to the office door, I noticed them. I was even being distracted, shuffling podcast files on my phone, and they still managed to grab my attention. Active little buggers, and low-flying, with eye catching coloration. Literally stopped me in my tracks to take a second look.

I've never seen the San Juan Capistrano migration (which apparently has migrated elsewhere, Chino Hills, this year), and have always thought, "That's probably kinda neat, but eh, they're just small birds." After this morning, with such a small flock so readily capturing my attention, I am now very very keen to go visit the real deal.
