Yes, well, after having the splint for a few days and she'd want it off. Kids don't think about the future.

I hope it heals quickly, though a sprain can take weeks to heal (I sprained both wrists at the same time in football in high school).

The weekend of Seattle sightseeing was enjoyable but now I'm stuck at the corporate hotel by the airport for four days while I am forced to actually work.

Hopefully I'll find the energy to spend an evening or two downtown and deal with the hassle of getting back out here rather than just docilely returning at the end of the workday.

You know, I loves me a lemon-filled donut. But they're always coated in that freaking sugar that just pours off of them. So whenever I have one, I get to spend the day (and subsequent days until the custodial crew sweeps the lab floor) listening to my chair crunch and crackle as it rolls around. For some reason that really drives me nuts.
