So I've mentioned it before, but I've got a theater-crush on In the Heights, which won the Tony award for best musical. It's a slice of life in Washington Heights, featuring really terrific lyrics and rap, and musica latina. I found their Tony performance on YouTube.

And today I found out that the lyricist/writer/star (Lin Manuel Miranda) has a YouTube page. He did a bunch of viral videos to promote the show, and I really enjoyed them, too.

... and it'll probably only be funny to you if you've watched it.

Miranda freestyling, responding to critics who think his portrayal of the latino community is whitewashed.
