At work today I was just putting the cap on my pen but instead I rammed the point into my finger. Ouch.

Then at home tonight I was having trouble picking up the pizza with the spatula so I grabbed the pan for leverage, the pan that I just took out of the oven. I burned the same finger I stabbed earlier today. Ouch.



For the rest of the evening I'm going to sit quietly and avoid sharp and hot objects.

We haven't received any mail this week. This includes the weekly grocery ads, and there definitely were grocery ads this week. I can't get anyone at the post office to talk to me, and I'm suspicious that something may have gone horribly awry, and the only question is whether it's post office error (again), or identity theft.

Hmm... You can start checking the identity theft thing immediately, and I've always felt it's a good thing to do, especially after a scare I had a few years ago. I don't know about the new "credit check" things they're talking about on TV, but the big 3, Experian, Equifax and TransUnion all give out one free per year.

I always figure it's a good thing to know.

well, I have to wait until tomorrow to go argue with the post office before I can do anything. If they have a change of address on file, then I know there's an issue and it's police next.

Yeah, Edison's really getting them out there... they had the 100-watt equivalent ones at 99-cent store. Hell of a time to get out and get bulbs! Didn't see the ones at Big Lots the other day, I wonder if they're just rolling them out?

My day? Campus police arrested a student making threats for a rampage like Virginia Tech. Need to research it further and find out what happened. Last we were told the student was being detained.
