I have friends in mexico who have a house on a canal. The house is designed with tile floors that slightly slope toward the canal. You can literally hose down the floors in the house. It's not self cleaning, but it's close.

Sometimes.

I read a lot of things, you know. Suspense novels, classics, books on investing, fantasy, I run the gamut. I just get a hair up my butt for something, and I'll read several books in a row in the same genre, then suddenly drop it cold for months.

A tall, non-fat, decaf latte + a homemade oatmeal raisin cookie = lunch of champions.

Gah. I'm really hungry but for some reason the thought of food makes me feel a little queasy.

I love it when the Supreme Court justices get catty with each other.

Still, perhaps there is no reason to be unduly glum. After all, today the author of a dissent issued in 1988 writes two majority opinions concluding that the views expressed in the dissent actually represent "clearly established" federal law at that time. So there is hope yet for the views expressed in this dissent, not simply down the road, but tunc pro nunc. Encouraged by the majority's determination that the future can change the past, I respectfully dissent.
I don't have a clue whether I agree with Roberts' dissent or not, but I can't help but picture him walking into Stevens' office (the justice writing the majority in question) and slamming down his dissent and shouting "in your face!"

Oh, if I could only hand out mojo to Roberts... I don't care what his opinion was, but intelligently catty behavior is always a turn-on.

Ugh, co-worker lunch at Chevy's. Not my favorite spot, but her choice. Way too many chips and salsa passed my lips, groan, may I now curl up under my desk and emulate my cat and snooze the afternoon away?

Soooo.... I'm coming down to the LA/Anaheim area this weekend. I'll be at the park for "Westfest" - the Disney Podcast Network's meet. I'm sure that I'll be free .... most of the weekend. If anyone down there wants to hang - please gimme a PM - Heather has stuff going on up here, so I'll be solo this time.
