I think the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve is my favorite week of the year. All the pretty stuff's still up, people are mostly still in a good mood, we still get all the ginger/cinnamon/eggnog goodies, and the stress of the gift season is done so I can enjoy it.

Trust me, I've got plenty of years of making my parents cry, yell and scream.
