I agree about the Vista learning curve. So far, I have not found any improvements (other than the fact that one can have ten users logging into my Shared Docs whereas the limit with XP was five). But I have run across a lot of things that are different. One thing that I have yet to figure out is how to set the view for all folders to List View. How I used to set it in XP don't work

| Nueve | It seems like it takes around a week for my hair to "settle down" even from a trim. Is that usually the case?

| Nueve | Oh yeah, and I was the one wondering about Vista & Office 2003. Thanks to everyone who's helped me out with that. I'm thinking of picking up another Microsoft Office before I graduate........................ and maybe the Adobe Creative Suite. Too many great deals to pass up!

| Nevermind | It's usually more a case of learning or re-learning how to style when it's a different shape, even when it's just a minor change. Unless a chemical service was involved, there should be no real change in the structure of the hair (aside from length), so the only other reason I can think of is different prods used at the salon? If you get a color at the same time, then yeah- it's takes a bit of time for the cuticle to settle back down and your hair can seem a little wild. |

| Beelzeboobs, Esq. | I think I need wendybeth to deal with my hair. Up for a challenge? One final down, one more to go, and then I'll be done with my last spring semester. Tomorrow I'm supposed to study for my income tax final - which is pretty damn necessary since I remember next to nothing from the class itself. But I have a new Zen Vision:M. Study? Or play with new toy? Hmmmm.....

| HI! | WARNING: Bitching ahead. I love my job. However, as with most jobs, there is a problem. The problem with it is that I work ALL the time. Yes, I have breaks throughout the day (like now), but these breaks are a couple of hours at most, then I have more work to do. It is like this all day long - and through the night when I have overnights. It makes it really difficult to be productive IRL. |
