So none of you watched The Simpsons finale, eh? What-ever!

So, I'm looking at the Miss Universe National Costumes before I go to bed.

Being partially polish, I HAD to check out Poland! I was totally scared they'd have her dressed in a clown costume or something.

To my delight she was in a pink Glinda Good Witch tutu dress and gold stiletto heels!! Something I'd wear on like, a Saturday night. Aww! I really am a true blue polak!

The thing about gardening is that it makes my back hurt. Still, I uprooted most of the myrtle and planted a few springs alongside the fence where it will drive the neighbors nuts. And I threw out the herbs Ryan let get totally rootbound in their little pots - but I kept a few cuttings in case they can be revived. And I planted cucumbers. Still lots to do.

Actually, and surprisingly (since I haven't watched the Simpsons in years), I did watch the episode. I liked the whole 24 tie-in with Kiefer spoofing himself.

The AC is still out at work. The rumor going around is that it died and needs to be completely replaced; we will be without AC for 3 weeks!

I finally got Chicken moved and increased the size of her pen. She has a love/hate relationship with PoohDog. He whines at her and wants her to play with him, and she talks to him, but if his nose is within reach he gets pecked. This morning she got out of her pen. He left her alone, so we thought maybe it was time to open her pen. Nope. Once we were out there with them he decided it was play time. She went right back into her pen and let me close her in.

Just once I would like a "normal" animal, one who behaves "normally."

*sigh*

tonight I have to go into Nick's TaiKwonDon class to check out the board. He said they have posted a sign for testing tomorrow night. This means tomorrow night we will be there until almost 10.
