So ... how does one find out in advance what fire regulations might be in effect next weekend?

HI!

Also, remember that there is a $20 entrance fee (for a 7 day pass) to get into Sequoia/Kings Canyon NPs.

Is there a way to get the pass in advance (online?)?

I'm thinking about getting the AP for $80. I've been wanting to take more little weekend day trips with my honey, and that would save us a bundle over the next year.

I didn't see anything about buying the $20 pass in the FAQ's (even after re-reading just now). Am I missing something?
I am not looking to buy the ANNUAL pass, just the 7-day one in advance.

Hmmm, my NP AP was $50 when I purchased it in January at Joshua Tree.
Between that trip, my Grand Canyon adventure, this coming weekend, and a return to Joshua Tree sometime next fall that I hope to talk many people into attending ... my national park admission fee will be $12.50 per. Not quite Disneyland, but it ain't too bad. ![]() |
