Today is THE DAY that doomed all of humanity ... because according to "Terminator 2," April 19, 2011 ... at 8:11 PM ... Skynet became self aware, starting a chain of events that led to a war between man and machine.

I don't know about you, but I think I can kick my smart-phones ass.

Where'd you get that date?

In T2:Judgement Day, Skynet goes online on August 4, 1997, then after learning at a geometric rate, becomes self aware at 2:14am Eastern time, August 29th.

Whew, I'm glad there's time. 'Cause we need to have a MAJOR Terminator party on August 29!!!

(I'm assuming Matt is correct - - sorry, Moonie - you're just not geek enough)

According to wikipedia that date was from the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

These multiple timelines make one's head swim!

Why did it never occur to the writers to tie in with the Mayan calendar? That would have been hilarious.

According to wikipedia that date was from the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

And if you follow the SCC then T:3 never happened.

Or SCC is in the future back to the past because the goal was to survive Judgement Day, not prevent it.

Time travel. What date really means anything when time travel is involved?
