If you've been to DL within the past couple weeks you may have gotten a flyer when you entered the structure regarding "Disney's Fairies", a new idea from Disney, bent on becoming the new Princesses. They're releasing a book series and then of course comes the dolls/clothes/you name it. At least it's not a DVD thing...although I'm sure it will be, if it proves popular.

Here (http://disney.go.com/fairies/meetfairies.html) is their main page which has all the info on the fairies that the flyer had. Yes, it includes the hilarious description of a fairy named Prilla:
Affectionate and eager to please, exuberantly acrobatic, young and inexperienced....

Talent: Does not know yet!

Favorite Game/Hobby: With her playful disposition, Prilla can make a game of everything.

Anyway, the reason I'm posting this is that I just found out they're have a launch party of sorts on GAY DAY. I'm not kidding. (http://www.jimhillmedia.com/mb/articles/showarticle.php?ID=1602) Although I don't think they realize what kinds of fairies are actually showing up...:evil: ;)

Just read the first chapter, which is on the site. It was alright, nothing terrible. Kind of nice to have new Neverland adventures...

Except that the Fairies debut seems to be set for Goth Day, not Gay Day.

I kinda liked the fairy that was "all about speed" ... uh-huh. She'll fit right in with the boys of West Hollywood. :eek:
