OK, so I rarely pin trade because I find it lame. When I do pin trade it is often when I am doing Guest Control for an afternoon parade. And that is just cuse I'm bored and I like to discretely mock the crazy people that come and grab the lanyard that I am wearing (Borrowed for my shift from the parade locker). OK, so here is my funny idea, I wanna create a lanyard of pins inspired from Disney FAILURES. I am thinking a Light Magic pin or 2, maybe LuminAria, what else??? Thoughts??? Ideas??

I'll say Super Star Limo, but I'm kicking myself while doing so because I was one of the few, if not only, who actually loved that ride!

Edited to add: any failure, or parade/show failures?

Ooh! Okay! :D

While still active and in existence, can I choose Innoventions? Because it just makes me sad.

Does anybody remember the Disney Afternoon extravaganza of 1989? I sure do. And while I loved the Gummi Bears, you just might want to add the pin of when they decided to turn the Fantasyland Motorboats into Gummi Glen complete with cardboard-esque cutouts of various Gummi Bear characters shoved in the bushes, rather, the "Glen". Heartwrenching. :(

LOL! I have a whole little collection of Super Star Limo pins just for that reason.

One of my other favorite pins isn't a failure, it's just so nasty. That would be my Phillipa Couch pin. Phallic much?

Hehehe... The funny thing is that last year I actually traded pins with a Cast Member just to get his Superstar Limo pin and ABC Soap Opera Bistro pin! But then again, I was collecting DCA pins, but generally I'm NOT a pin trader. Really.

Suggestions for FantasmicFanatic:
--Rocket Rods
--Red Long Johns added to the pins for certain attractions, such as BTMRR, Sailing Ship Columbia, etc.

I just want to say that I'm really happy that I never had the..umm...pleasure of riding my beloved motorboats with the gummi bear overlay. Better to be able to remember them in their glory, rather than the cheezy eyesore that I suspect they became.

I think they really missed an opportunity with the Motorboat Cruise through Gummi Glen - It had so many nice targets, and paintballs look kind of like gummi berries :)

Cosmic Waves! This was the first one I thought of. When you guys wear those pins I crack up every time. Why the frick did they make a pin for that thing???

Maybe they should build Cosmic Waves at Hong Kong Disneyland :)

This was the first one I thought of. When you guys wear those pins I crack up every time. Why the frick did they make a pin for that thing???I know that's a rhetorical question, but I'm going to go ahead and be the annoying nerd that answers it.

If it's the pin I'm thinking of (faceless child atop spurt of water), it's part of a set of attraction pins that came out in 1998. They were released to celebrate the New Tomorrowland. So most of the set is Tomorrowland stuff, then and "now." (Which explains why there's essentially 3 Rocket Jets pins.)

Cosmic Waves would probably not have been included, but since it was new for the 1998 New TL, that's probably how it made it into the set.

That set also includes Rocket Rods, Observatron, and the Pizza Port.

FWIW, my favorite pin is the giant rhinestoned Superstar Limo pin.

Well, someone already beat me to the Rocket Rods suggestion... so I'll just chime in and say I love the idea.

Lest we forget the cinematic acheivements of Gus, Condorman, and the Devil and Max Devlin.

And then there's always...Newsies...

Mission Tortilla Factory...Hey, don't be dissin' the Tortilla Factory! If I can secure an "It's My Birthday" sticker, I get my dozen tortillas and soda and I got me a cheap (albeit not Atkins friendly) dinner!
