I was reading on MSN about a very large quake that rattled Pakistan, India and Afghanistan a short time ago. I checked over at MC and sure enough, Dusty had posted about it. Sounds pretty scary, especially given the notoriously precarious state of India's architecture: Dusty's Big Adventure (http://www.micechat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12196) .

Yikes is right...I can think of about two million other places I'd rather be than in a 15 story building in India during a quake.

Thanks for the link, wendy. I'm not much over at MC anymore, so I might never have seen this news .... and if my addled brain would have even thought that Dusty was in India (d'uh), then I would have been worried.

Wow....he will have quite the story to tell....in the mean time I'd be sleeping in a tent in an open field to avoid aftershocks... scary.

You're quite welcome- I read about the quake online and thought of Dusty, as he's the only person I know who goes there with any frequency. I checked over at MC and he'd just posted his experience. Poor guys- that had to have been pretty damned scary.
