They've converted the Autopia FP machines into Nemo FP machines.

Well, I read it on MC. Don't ask me to find the thread.

EDIT: I found it. (http://www.micechat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69366)

Well, it's a good thing I've wasted enough time on them already.

Fine. I waited 2.5 hours the first time, and was sorely disappointed. Much more fun the second, with 22 friends, and an action-packed, breathless, half-hour wait. The ride is cute, and that's about it.

Depending on where the merge-point is, I can see myself riding with FastPass about 1000 percent more than without.

Ummm... it sounds like the FP for Nemo thing is a joke... a hoax...

It's fake.

The original poster even said so later in the thread.

Love me some mythbustin' Zap. <3

On the other hand, if you think about it, if there even was a Fastpass for Nemo, it'd still sell out by, say, an hour after opening... So... what the fark's the point?

This is how I read MC:

Look at thread titles
If there is anything interesting
Scroll over and see if I really AM interested
If it still interested me, I read the first post.
Done.

They did a great job with the pass, though some parts are off a little in the pass like fading colors for the graphic... still, at first glance it was believable but looking too close and almost blinding my eyes i noticed the differences.

He went to the trouble of photshopping the "FP" symbol into the listing for the Sub, but didn't remove it from Autopia. Sloppy.

Later on he fixed that and the alignment of the map... but since it slipped through he wanted to get caught somehow.. and got caught that way but later showed a map he fixed the alignment of the FP for Nemo and removed the FP for Autopia.

its best to sometimes leave the abnormalities when your doing a hoax, especially when you don't want people to make a fool of themselves at Disneyland if the person doesn't want to.

So are they putting this fastpass in for the WDW Subs too ?

hmm... if we still had subs... but i hear instead they are putting in Fast pass for Pooh's Play Place, and some rest room locations throughout the park ;)

(I'm not talented on photoshop, otherwise I would have tried.)

Unless you got there in the first 45 minutes to get the fast pass it probably wouln't have helped you anyway. With such a low capacity ride the fast passes would "sell out" very quickly, and only serve to add to the length of the stand by line if you didn't have one, creating a big mess. And if you are there that early, you may as well just get on the ride with out the fastpass (although it would have allowed for an easier second ride:D ).

But alas, it's fakery anyway.

Love me some mythbustin' Zap. <3When I saw the original post in the thread, I thought:

Okay, how can they add a fastpass to speed up the line when it'll only further extend it ? Also, why would they have silouettes of the mermaids, that are no longer in the ride, on the fastpass, rather than the characters from Finding Nemo ? This sounds fishy (no pun intended).

My instincts were correct.

Thanks for the low-down, zapppop.

Miss ya already sweetie.
