LOL - I'll add the good quotes, and being creative in Open Mic will usually score you some mojo.

You can get mojo from all kinds of posts. I think the only thing that will definitely not get you mojo is "me too" one liners.
Posting in Open Mic...posting that you achieved something....posting a really good response in a debate....there are as many ways to get mojo as there are people reading your posts. Certain things appeal to certain people. :)

Once upon a time, about ten thousand years from now, there was a beautiful robot princess. She wanted nothing more than to fall in love with a handsome prince, get married, and have her very own robto <3 children. So one day, she made a deal with the local magical sentient blob, who telepathically said to her:
"I shall send you
into the past,
to a time when
there were plenty
of prince charmings,"
and she traveled back in time, where she held a job as a sexy librarian. When she fell in love, the couple was whisked back to the future by the sentient blob (who has always been and always will be--think of it like Q, only shapeless and less funny). Unfortunately, though the robot princess and her prince charming were in love and lived happily ever after, there were no robot <3 children for obvious reasons. The moral of this tale, according to Aesop, is "never take advice from your local magical sentient blob--they tend to leave important details out."
Like that?

You still need a swanky avatar but other than that: Priceless.

I didn't really think that the robot princess would get me any mojo. But hey, if you're into local magical sentient blobs . . .

Yeah, you can't be sweating the mojo stuff; it just ain't cool...
I'd say that there is almost insta-mojo for creativity in any department. Original thought is always good, and in high-traffic time-slots. Sometimes, I think I've posted something really great, but it was on an off day or in an off-hour, and it doesn't get nearly the response I expect. And then there are times that I think I've posted something positively mediocre, and bampf! Mojo!
It's a little random, and it's whatever floats someone's boat. I tend to mojo for anything that makes me actually laugh out loud (not LOL), and/or something that makes me probe the subject matter, or myself, further. Mojolicious!

There's an Open Mic section? Why yes, there is! ;) And allow me to introduce you to my "Inspiration?" project (http://www.loungeoftomorrow.com/LoT/showthread.php?p=12827). It could use a few more entries. I'm sure you've got something to add. :D :D :D

You know, I don't read Open Mic not to I participate in it. Just not where my love is. You don't need to play with the mic to get mojo. Unless you do nasty things with the mic.
