A very big welcome to my friend, Sir Dillon!

(I kinda, like, told him that y'all were real smart and stuff, so play along, will ya?);)

Sir Dillon, I usually direct new members to the "Soooo...." thread, one that was casually started by a bored member way back in our infancy and has sort of taken on a life of it's own. It's the 'Seinfeld' of site threads- about nothing in particular yet will get you up to speed on just about everything and everyone here. It takes ages to load, and even longer to read, so I won't blame you if you skip it. Anyway, welcome and I'm glad to see you here!

Not yet, CM. I didn't want to scare him off.;)

Hey! Don't give him a free pass to skip the Soooo thread. Not allowed!! ;)

Welcome. Did we approve you yet?

Thanks WendyBeth for the intro and welcome, to include those who have responded in kind...

I will give the Soooo....thread a review and see what is what and with whom in the Halls of Boredom.

And to CoasterMatt...no, no warnings about you or anyone else; which is all good as I like to form my own opinions.

Besides, it goes without saying that one is bound to cross some interesting yet strong (e.g. confident, arrogant, direct, etc.) personalities in online discussion forums; for better or worse ;)

Anyhow, I appreciate WendyBeth's invite and will begin responding in various threads soon.

S.D.

Oh, CM just likes to blow things up and ride coasters. Lots of coasters. He also builds his own comp systems, which occasionally blow up. He also gets hurt at work a lot.

Welcome, Sir Dillon! Have a pancake, have some bacon. It's a good time to join the board, as there's plenty of both around.

I think the first question we should all be asking is:

What do you think of bacon?

(and keep in mind, the wrong answer could jeapordize your standing around here! ;) )

Welcome to our happy home! (yes Happy! that means EVERYONE dammit!)

Welcome to the LoT, the Small World Holiday of the net! Where we all stand in one place and sign that catchy song (mixed in with jingle bells) over, and over, and over again!

Lashbear and Lashstoat are our resident Aussies, and will be touring the PNW (and entire West Coast) next spring. We get custody of them for several days- maybe you can make a trip up for the mini PNW meet! (We have several members up here that we hope to meet up with as well).
