Cinefamily at the Silent Movie Theater is having a screenings series (http://www.silentmovietheatre.com/calendar/friday_early.html), Fridays in July, of the work of Jim Henson, including some rarely screened early TV specials, commercials, and experimental pieces.

LSPE and I are hoping to go to multiple nights in this series, and are especially excited about the final night. If anyone else is interested in that or other parts of the sereies, chime in here and we can get a swanking together.

Change of plans! Apparently without telling anyone, Cinefamily moved the schedule around and the "Commercials and Experiments" program, originally scheduled for the end of the month, is TONIGHT. Heidi, her dad and I have just bought tickets, and we would love to have anyone who can make it join us.

Nobody bit on this the first time... but we went to the commercials/experiments presentation and it was brilliant.

They just added another showing on Sunday night and I really think all of you would love it. Hell, I'd go again if anybody wanted to join me.

I'd love to, but no chance to make it down. :-(
