I've started go through our CDs again trying to make sure we've got everything ripped before we decide on a more permanent storage solution for our discs. The Beatles Anthology was not yet ripped. I put in Disc 1 of Anthology 3, and iTunes popped up 2 options for the track data from CDDB. One was "The Beatles Anthology 3 Disc 1 - The Beatles" the other as "Anthology 3 Disc 1 - The Beatles". With the window popped up I couldn't look at the library to see how the other discs were listed, so I just selected the first one, "The Beatles Anthology".
The track titles are all in Japanese. How do I get iTunes to forget the data and ask me to select again?

What I would do (and I'm inept) would be to delete the entire disc and reload it. But now that you mention it, I'd love it if there were a less drastic solution.

Well, I didn't import it, so there was nothing to delete. But I'd eject the CD and put it back in and it would still be in Japanese and not give me the option anymore.
But, no mind, I found out how to do it. Just go to "Advanced" and select "Get CD Track List" and it brings up the selection window again.

The Japanese versions are the best anyways.
I have Japanese, German and UK pressings of all The Beatles LPs, and the Japanese are the best quality. Um, ya know, in 1976.

Unfortuately A) It's the Anthology, so it's hardly the 1976 pressing to begin with, and B) I'm pretty sure that simply changing the language of the track listing doesn't actually transform the disc into the Japanese release, but then I didn't fully read the release notes for the latest iTunes version, so maybe they added that feature.

of course, but couldn't resist. There's only one band I was fanatic enough about to get several foreign pressings of their entire album output. And, yeah, the Nippons were the best at it.
