The cube is meh.

But the WTF? Why do they make concept cars? Why not spend the money on making actual cool cars people will want to buy? (and can actually buy)

While Nirvanaman can answer the question much better than I, the answer I would give is that concept cars are the beginning of new cars for the future. Sort of like a big brainstorming session. Actual production models/features/designs evolve out of the concept cars.

I don't believe you. They take cool cars and take one little element and put it on a lame car no one wants anyway.

When you're too drunk to bartend, just let the cops know and they'll finish up for you.

It's the same idea as you see in fashion with those clothes that no one really actually wears. It isn't about the specific reality, but about the ideas. Trickle down creativity.

They take cool looking cars and take the ideas from them and turn then into practical cars. You know, ones that you can actually fit in, don't cost $200,000, have trunk space, and won't instantly crush you in an accident.

It's been too long since we had one, so here ya go:

Boy poses as police officer and goes on patrol

It's bad enough that he fooled the whole station and his partner in the patrol car, but how did he even get on the roster????
