Well, thanks everyone! I am hopeful and I had a phone call last night with an offer of addtional assistance, which is pretty awesome.

It is also amazing, however, the drama that is now swirling about this project. Honestly, some people are just too weird and nasty! Hopefully my little boat won't be shipwreacked and turn into a doombuggie! Sorry to be so obscure, but it's really kinda crazy.

Keep good notes. Your next project can be a tell all about writing a book.

Oh jeez, the stories of collectors, collecting and all that is a book in itself! Sometime it seems like a small pool with lots of guys peeing into it! Ew!

Well, I'm in wait mode (and I'm impatient, to boot).

The good news is, they asked for the proposal again and 30 or so sample images (I can't remember if I updated before Mexico). I sent them the goods and they've sent the proposal and CDs out to "readers" to get a take on the viability of the project. So far, the news back is good from the "readers" I know, thank goodness for good will among some of these people. Kevin Brownlow gave me a big boost and thumbs up with the publisher. He emailed me and told me so! Le sigh, it's like having a great being telling you that you're doing okay. He's a geek, but he is my hero.:cool:

Still in wait mode, still thinking that the $$ to produce this will lay me flat. But, I have another friend who has the proposal and wants me to come to LA to pitch in person if this deal goes no further. Two other potential publishers in the mix. Yikes! :D

The more the merrier !! It's sounding really positive !. I don't have a small pool, but I've peed in my sink here to bring you good luck. :D
