According to GMA, she is a single mother and the embryos were implanted. The ethics of this entire situation is grossly fascinating.

Where are the ethics?

I really hope with all the negative publicity this has attracted that companies are not just giving them handouts like they usually do with free diapers, a house,a van or college tuition! She obviously knew what she was doing and should not be rewarded!!

Although I would hate to see the babies suffer for her wrongs.

Then, I have no problem if they receive as much as orphaned or needy children... but nothing more than that.

But if she were judged a better person they would be deserving of more than orphaned and needy children?

In my opinion, still no. (Coincides with my earlier post about fertility treatments vs. adoption.)

I think that before we can make a fully informed decision about the morality of the situation, we need to know her skin color.
